As a noisy, bustling and disjointed city, Bangkok is a worthy home of the Tuk Tuk. Endemic across much of South East Asia, the Tuk Tuk is a simple means of transport that whisks many a traveler around on short trips for more than a fair price. It is not just the cost saving benefits that draw visitors to these vehicles, but also the experience offered by a three wheeled scooter taxi with open sides and usually a dodgy colour scheme.

Couchsurfing? Consider These Important Tips

As part of my 2-week-backpacking challenge, I decided to try out couchsurfing. This is really interesting as it works well with backpackers on a shoestring budget, thus, couchsurfing gives you the opportunity to save from having to spend for your accommodation. And I did it! 2-week-backpacking Challenge: What to Pack?

A couple of days ago, I was contemplating on going away for a while and breathe… figured I wanted to try something different. So I decided to go backpacking for 2 weeks without planning where to go and just take on the road to wherever.

I am actually intrigued on how many places I can go in 2 weeks, excited to assess how am I keeping up with the challenge. Knowing that I would be on the road for a little while, I have tomake sure that I am equipped with the basic travel gears and gadgets.
